SUNDAY SETLIST FROM AUSTIN RIDGE SOUTHWEST FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 20TH.

We didn't sing this hymn today we read it.  

Hosanna, loud hosanna

Hosanna, loud hosanna, 
the little children sang, 
through pillared court and temple
the lovely anthem rang. 
To Jesus, who had blessed them
close folded to his breast, 
the children sang their praises, 
the simplest and the best. 

From Olivet they followed
mid an exultant crowd, 
the victor palm branch waving, 
and chanting clear and loud. 
The Lord of earth and heaven
rode on in lowly state, 
nor scorned that little children
should on his bidding wait. 

"Hosanna in the highest!" 
that ancient song we sing, 
for Christ is our Redeemer, 
the Lord of heaven our King. 
O may we ever praise him
with heart and life and voice, 
and in his blissful presence
eternally rejoice!

SUNDAY SETLIST FROM AUSTIN RIDGE SOUTHWEST FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 13TH.

Summer is almost over, Austin Ridge Southwest! I trust you've had some good time for rest with  vacations and family, sunshine and water, music and great food in this very amazing city of ours - Austin!  I hope you've enjoyed every minute and are giving big thanks to God for all these awesome blessings.   This Sunday we are singing the song called – Only King Forever.  (Check out the song and lyrics here.)  It’s a song of celebration declaring that our mighty and awe inspiring God is the only true God worthy of ALL of our adoration.  He rules with love and justice and is full of mercy and compassion for those that call on His name.  The older I get the more I realize how ‘beyond me’ that God is and how desperately I need His grace and strength.  He is truly great and I am nothing without Him!  

Song of Songs 8:6  'Love is stronger than death...The flash of love is a flash of fire, a flame of YHWH.' 

We have much to be thankful for – chiefly God's amazing LOVE.  The more we realize how much we have been loved the more passionate our worship becomes!
